Muddy Blues/Football game

Hey all. Yeah yeah yeah I know. I went and created this lame blog so why am I taking so long to write in it? Well...the simple explanation for that is that a week ago I had no life and now I do. Amazing thing how one week can change everything, huh?

So to start with, let me tell you all about my lovely Muddy Blues experience with Conradi the weekend of his birthday. If you are friends with him then I hope you all remembered:P Ok, anyway...we had a glorious time exploring new places in Forest Park (well ok...new to me) such as an all-inclusive playground (yes I think that is so cool!) and unsuccessfully trying to get drunk at the Blues festival. Those drinks are total ripoffs!!! Anyway, here is a pic of us:

So the next weekend I got sick with a cold...yeah what else is new, right? And managed to get myself out of the apartment on Saturday to go see my first Saluki football game with my friends Katie and Ashley. Fun! Fun! The sad thing is that I very quickly realized it had been a very long time since my last football game since I could not remember anything as simple as even figuring out who had possession. Ok...mostly ditsyness rather than total ignorance. Anyway, here are some pics:

Ok. So now this weekend I am going home for my dad's birthday and to see my sister while she is in town. The reason my life is so busy now is because I now have a job at Achieve tutoring students with learning disabilities and I am about to start my job with AmeriCorps. Yes, I think it is actually happening. I am getting drug tested and everything. So yay! Everyone be happy that Robyn won't be bugging you all for a while claiming to be terribly bored and lonely.

Haha, miss you.

Awww...but I miss the 192 random text messages you send me when you're bored and lonely.

Also, I'm not about to start a flame war with you or anything, but
yes, the first vampires were reanimated corpses, or at least possessed qualities that could be attributed to corpses (bloated, discolored, blood dripping from mouth). What most people consider "vampires" are a romanticized 18th century ideal thought up by Victorians who had to write this stuff because they couldn't get laid for real.

P.S.We'll try harder to get drunk for your birthday ;)
